We are pleased to announce the reopening of Fraunces Tavern Museum on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
The Museum will be open to the public on a reduced schedule: Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, offering access to six of its galleries, including the historic Long Room and Clinton Room.
The reopening is part of the Museum’s virtual Tavern Week, which will include a virtual lecture, a special Tavern Talks episode with the historic Neirs Tavern, and social media take overs featuring Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, Keeler Tavern Museum, and Golden Ball Tavern Museum.
The Museum will operate consistent with New York State and City Guidelines, including enhanced cleaning procedures, reduced occupancy, distance markers, options for timed ticketing, and requiring all staff and visitors to wear masks.
All of the Museum’s Tavern Week programming will take place online throughout the week of September 13, and reservations for Museum visitors will be available on September 7 at www.frauncestavernmuseum.org.
