On Monday, April 19, 2021, Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc. commemorated the Battles of Lexington and Concord and presented the Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award to author Mary Beth Norton for 1774: The Long Year of Revolution.

Honorable mentions were presented to Nina Sankovitch for American Rebels: How the Hancock, Adams, and Quincy Families Fanned the Flames of Revolution and Andrew Waters for To the End of the World: Nathanael Greene, Charles Cornwallis, and the Race to the Dan.

We were honored to be joined by all three authors, as well as the Massachusetts Society of the Sons of the Revolution and their President Shervin B. Hawley, who joined us from the Colonial Inn in Concord, MA.
