Flag Day Parade, Celebration & Open House

  • Fraunces Tavern® Museum 54 Pearl Street New York, NY, 10004 United States (map)

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

While not a federal holiday, this special day is observed across the nation, from small towns to big cities, often with parades. Since 1916, Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc. (SRNY) has hosted the Flag Day Parade, Celebration, and Open House here in New York City.

Support Flag Day

To support Flag Day and the Sons’ work to commemorate important milestones in American history, you can make a fully tax-deductible gift here. All contributions over $100 will be included in support materials and will be recognized at the program. Please be sure to write in the notes that your gift is in honor of Flag Day!
