The New York Genealogical & Biographical Society (NYG&B) is delighted to announce the launch of a major new online collection: the membership applications and historical records of the Sons of the Revolution in the State of New York, Inc. (SRNY).

As we continue to commemorate the United States Semiquincentennial, this online release makes thousands of digitized records available that will ultimately make more than 10,000 membership applications and organizational records—dating from 1883 to the present—searchable by full-text transcription and by index.

Kalyn Loewer, NYG&B’s Manager, Digital Collections, will conduct a free online webinar on July 29, 2026, 7–8 p.m. EDT, which will provide a first look on how to search this collection and reveal what you can find. This is a free online program; registration is required.
